Winter Munro bagging 1:2 - 1:8 Whether it is your first winter Munro or your last, Ben Nevis or Stob Ban, we will endeavour to provide you with a full on winter experience on the mountain of your choice. Correct crampon and axe technique will be covered on route to the summit of one of Scotland’s fine winter mountains. Course dates On request December – April 2010/11 Arrival Time 0830 Base location As this is a bespoke walking day group members can decide in conjunction with the instructor where they would like to go. Weather conditions may play a big part in the decision making but with so many hills and mountains to go at there won’t be a shortage of ideas! Full details will be sent out with confirmation of your booking. Previous experience The Scottish hills can be a harsh environment so please come prepared to be out on the hill in the winter weather. Previous Summer walking will be advantageous as will a good degree of fitness to make the most of your day. Cost Includes The course fee includes instruction. It does not include accommodation; guests can then make their own arrangements depending on personnel budget. We have limited amounts of ice axes available so please get in touch if you wish to hire anything well in advance of your course date.
